Testimonials

“William Farr C.E. Comprehensive School has used Build-a-Future as an Independent School for a number of years for students who require additional specialist support because they are struggling to access mainstream education. Students have accessed this provision through the Local Authority Pupil Re-Integration Team as a short-term intervention placement. Adam and his team have provided a highly professional service bespoke to the child’s needs. They have worked with the school to plan a joint curriculum provision for individual students and are keen to ensure that continuity is provided for the child’s education to prepare them for reintegration back into mainstream. Adam and his team have provided advice and support to our staff in developing appropriate teaching and learning strategies for use in school. I can highly recommend Build-a-Future as an Independent School to help support the complex needs of some individual students.”

“Banovallum School have worked collaboratively with Build-a-Future over many years. Their team have supported, motivated and engaged some of our very vulnerable and challenging students to achieve and succeed via an alternative pathway. Adam and his team provide regular and accurate communication regarding attendance, academic progress and emotional and behavioural development. Build-a-Future is an excellent resource for Lincolnshire schools to access as an alternative option for specific young people ensuring their needs are met”

I have worked with Adam and the staff from Build a Future on numerous occasions to secure alternative provision for students.

I have always found them to be “flexible and accommodating in their approach, they have been good when communicating with both students, parents and school and have always been co-operative and happy to work in partnership to secure positive outcomes for students.”

“Working in close partnership with BAF, we were able to provide a personalised timetable to a Year 10 student that enabled them to re-engage fully with Education.”

“My daughter had been struggling to access mainstream education as the result of additional needs.

Unfortunately, when her EHCP went out to consult all of the mainstream schools responded to say they couldn’t accommodate her needs at a crucial time in her education.

She began attending Build-a-Future, initially with the aim of re-integrating her back into a mainstream setting, however once it became apparent this was not going to be possible, Build-a-Future became her main place of education.

I cannot praise the staff highly enough; they quickly got to know my daughter and went over and above to find out ways to build her confidence back and get her to engage. The team enable her to see her strengths and at the same time helping her to see the ways she can do things better in a positive way. The understanding and skills the staff use to understand the reasons why certain behaviours present and manage them in a proactive, positive way to help the young people thrive is amazing.

Theirs is not an easy job at times but the passion to help people succeed is evident and something I will always be grateful for.

Thank you!”
